Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
Tired of your old landline? Want more flexibility? Looking to replace your current office PABX system?
Why not move to iSAT's Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service.
VoIP allows you to move/port your current telephone number to a cost effective, easy to use, more flexible solution.
What is VoIP
Simply put, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that enables the use of traditional telephone systems, like your current landline service, to make calls over the internet.
How does VoIP work
VoIP converts your analogue calls into data packets. These data packets are then transmitted over the internet in the same way email is.
This increased freedom and flexibility allows you to make traditional landline and mobile calls from any VoIP enabled device. Anytime, anywhere providing you have access to the Internet.
You will need the following to use VoIP
- An internet connection.
- A VoIP specific Handset or Smartphone with softphone app.
